Do we need to report the results of the investigation in writing? Can we let customer know orally that error reported to ChexSystems was corrected?
I found under FCRA
“ 3) Complete its investigation of the dispute and report the results of the investigation to the consumer before the expiration of the period under section 611(a)(1) of the FCRA (15 U.S.C. 1681i(a)(1)) “

It doesn’t state in writing or to mail like it does for a frivolous/irrelevant dispute.
