What is the general thought on posting employee pictures on Facebook. Such as when employees are out in the community helping a charity etc.

On one end it shows good publicity for the bank, but a security risk also comes in.

We don't include names or titles when posting a picture.

As an employee, I'd sure like to have the choice. I do not like the idea of photos of me floating around out there on the internet.

When done at our institution a release needs to be signed by all employees in the picture for the bank to use the photo. Not sure if this is a legality issue, or just our bank doing what they determine best practice. However, I would highly recommend the employee signature in writing to avoid any possible flare-ups from the issue.
