Yes. The Act permits charging the federal agency for labor and reproduction costs. The authorized labor rate (rounded to quarter hours) I thought the cost was $22.00 an hour and .25 cents per copy. We have a request that has filled several boxes and wanted to confirm what we can charge them.

I hope you read the instructions carefully before producing all of those documents. With the advent of technology, many of the requests I see indicate that reimbursement for paper will only be provided if you called in advance as many agencies now request electronic documents to cut down on printing costs.
