I'm new to the Esign rules. We sent initial docs out to be Esigned including an application. Applicant esigns docs but does not complete GMI. Esign information shows when the docs were delivered and date/time applicant signed. Is that enough to show how the applications was taken, ie email or internet? The lender did not mark how the app was taken is the reason for my question.

I am confused. You send a blank application to the customer via E-Sign and they complete the application and fail to complete the GMI - or you are sending a completed application to the customer for signature. If the latter, that is not the original application - how did you receive the original application?
