Does anyone have confirmation in regards to whether the SSA-89 form must be used on all loans?

There is no such Federal requirement.

It is my understanding that this is required by FNMA. I found in all-regs D1-3-03 that it is required on all loans selected for a post closing audit. I'm just trying to see if I can find out what processes are in place with other lenders.
