Our auditor told us that FDICIA requires us to have teller cash drawer limits approved by the Board annually. I'm not able to find this in FDICIA. I'd like a regulatory citation, if someone could help. Thanks!

Don't go on wild goose chases. If the Auditor says that it is required by the FDICIA, then they should be the ones giving you the actual citation. If they can't - tell them to find it and provide it to you or remove the finding.

Agree with Randy. Our external auditors incorporate cash count reviews into their FDICIA testing but they are not part of our key controls. FYI teller cash counts are part of controls established by our state banking code, since we are a FDICIA reporting bank we are exempt from a majority of these controls.
