Has anyone attended the RMA Enterprise Risk Management Seminar for Community Banks? If so, did it provide take-away models you could plug in your bank's information for assessments, controls, etc. I want to set something up in a recognized and accepted framework.

No, I did not attend the seminar. However, the Committee on Sponsoring Organizations (COSO), a private-sector group set up to combat fraudulent financial reporting and bring greater transparency to the way public companies operate, came up with a workable framework for enterprise risk management. (This document can be viewed on the committee's website, www.coso.org. Click on "publications.")This framework is the basis for most ERMs.

Risker, if you want to discuss setting up a ERM program send me a PM.
