If a customer applies for a Debit/ATM card and is approved, and after a time the account is closed, how long do you keep the Debit Card application? Would we keep it the same length of time as closed signature cards (6 yrs) or as closed credit cards (3 yrs)? Thanks.

Under Reg. E (debit) or Reg. Z (tied to credit line and acting as a credit card) you'd look at 2 years if this has required info on it. Otherwise, they won't care as many institutions never use an application for debit cards.
