Prior life our dept had all of the keys to the bins so we had to go unlock for the shred guy and we stayed while they shredded. That was more of an issue with the bins staying locked in the workplace though.

Yes to both. Yes, and actualy employee stands with the truck to ensure the contents are shredded on site.
