My branch completes the CTR's and the forward them to Bank Operations for review and mailing to IRS. We have a Compliance Group and I believe it should be their responsibility. Any thiughts

Bank systems generally drive where a CTR is actually prepared. If the personnel responsible for reviewing the forms are properly trained, this sounds feasible to me. Compliance should periodically review CTRs filed for accuracy and timeliness.
