Need help. Our bank is currently thinking of entering a mortgage broker arrangement where the broker will perform x number of services in lieu of a fee. I would be very interested in hearing how other banks the do this structure the fee. I have read the 1999 statement of policy from HUD and IBAA letter,but I am having trouble justifying the price of each service so that the compensation is reasonable.

I would really appreciate any help you can give.
