We have 2 vendors we can pull credit from. We typically use one that charges $17 but the one we use as a backup charges $26. Is it ok to charge the $26 when we use the backup? It is our understanding that RESPA allows us to charge the actual cost to us, is this correct?

You could disclose the highest on the GFE, then charge the actual on the HUD...nothing wrong with that.
