For Reg. B purposes we know that all income needs to be considered in evaluating loan requests. However, some loan committee members are asking if non-cash public assistance income (i.e., food stamps, vouchers of various types, rent assistance) which is considered should be used in calculating the debt-to-income ratio.

Any comments, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

Refer to the OSC 202.6(b)(2) Comment 6 - regarding the factors you can contemplate when dealing with public assistance.
