Am I missing something or is there really no required record retention for advertising under Reg Z? I was thinking about just retaining them long enough to cover the period between exams. Any feedback on this?

There is no requirement in the regulations, but I would advise to keep them at least audit to audit. I would like to see your examiner's face when you tell them that you threw them all away right after they were published because Reg Z doesn't have a retention period.
