I have an LLC that will be signing loan documents and the lending officer has one of the signers listed as " Director" and siging in that capacity. I remember years ago being told that you must sign in an officer capacity ( President, VP, etc.) that for some reason ( what I am trying to determine) you could not sign as a director on loan documents. I have a copy of the articles and by laws which does not reference any titles. Please help!
Thanks!!!

You need an attorney familiar with your state law. Most LLCs have members and if the articles and/or bylaws do not reference what members can sign for the LLC then what legal authority does this "director" have to be signing on behalf of the LLC in any capacity?
