We are a bank that pays our mortgage brokers a % on total volume per month. If the broker doesn't originate any loans,or a small amount, they are allowed up to a $2,000/mnth draw against their future earnings.

Under the new mortgage compensation rules, can we still allow this draw feature? I have been told by one individual that we cannot, that we need to have a salary or hourly rate, but I haven't heard an explanation that clarifies this.
