In cases where an adverse action letter was not sent within the 30 day regulatory timeframe, a remediation letter would be sent out. However, what if the case is for example, 6 months old where the letter was never sent? Any advice on what the appropriate time frame should be for remediation letters? Curious on other banks perspective with respect to customer confusion or harm, if a letter was sent out 3 - 6 months after credit denial.

Call the EIC of your regulator and ask them. No use doing it twice. I have seen them require banks to go back the full 25 months.
