Recently, a bank examiner criticized us for not having a physical address of the credit reporting agency in our adverse action letter. {We have P.O. Boxes.}
I have exhausted myself in an effort to try to find this requirement. I can not seem to locate it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? The examiner neglected to point out where this comes from!

Thank you

Is found in the appendix to FCRA (16 CFR 600) which is the old commentary to the regulation:

12. Name and Address of the Consumer Reporting Agency

The “section 615(a)” notice must include the consumer reporting agency's street address, not just a post office box address.

I think that it is a little outdated as customers usually can now longer just walk down the street to the CRA - but some of the regulators still enforce it.
