Regarding an application date on an application taken over the phone, do you go by the date the lender takes the application or the date the applicant signs the application as your trigger date for your disclosures?

The disclosures are triggered when the financial institution receives an application. The application was recieved when the loan officer took the information over the phone.

The application date would be the date when enough information was gathered to make a credit decision. In this case, it sounds like all the information is gathered over the phone, so to me the date when the application was taken over the phone would be your app date.
