Our bank is doing a floor plan loan to a business that deals with selling mobile homes in a couple of different locations. They basically purchase the used mobile home and sit it on one of hte dealer lots to be re-sold. Do we need a flood determination for the dealer lots?

The loans will be secured by the mobile homes they "floor". I believe they will be just sitting on blocks and not affixed to a permanent foundation. My initial response was to go ahead and pull determinations. However, after I pondered on it some more, I think that they may not be needed.

Would have sworn I responded to this the other day.

Not sure if anyone ever got an opinion from FEMA or not.

Not needed. At that stage, these are sitting like cars in a lot.
