I have one question these regulations that the CFPB are inheriting does that mean they will be doing the examinations on Reg Z, RESPA, etc or will it be just large banks that will be examined by this group?

The CFPB is now responsible for those regulations but will examine the larger (>$10 billion in assets) banks for consumer compliance; the CFPB can also, upon their request, accompany a smaller bank's primary regulator during exams.

The FRB that formerly was responsible for most of those regulations didn't examine all banks on those regs, just Fed member banks that had the FRB as their primary regulator. Same concept now, except that the CFPB can accompany other primary regulators on exams.
