We are working on a new Loan Platform for our bank (Laser Pro) and have a lot of questions about what the usury laws are that apply to us. We are a National Bank lending in WV and in KY. Does anyone know what usury laws we are governed by? And, specifically what are the Maximum rates we can charge in our WV offices and in our KY offices.

Is there not anyone out there that can help me with the issue of usury laws on loan rates for WV and KY? I have tried the bankers associations for each state but still need help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You might need to try legal counsel within each one of those states anyway. Any information you get on BOL is just for general knowledge and not to base policies and procedures on. If you are a National Bank - you would export your interest rates out of your home State under the preemption provisions anyway.
