We have never done this but are wondering if we can do this. Can loan rates be tiered to loan amounts like some deposit products are structured. For example if a loan rate is 3.25% can you offer loans over $300,000 a 3% rate? Thanks!

If you can justify the difference as a "business necessity" for fair lending purposes - sure.

In mortgage lending, Jumbos often have preferential pricing relative to smaller loans. Just make sure you've documented your business rationale and considered the possibility of disparate impact.
