We have a customer that is in bankruptcy. The flood insurance that we had previously force placed is due. Do we need to send the 45 day letter to the customer's bankruptcy attorney or how do we handle maintaining flood insurance on this property?

Contact your attorney. Every state has various rules about contacting people that have filed for bankruptcy. I could easily say "yes, send the 45 day letter", but you don't want to violate the bankruptcy rules in trying to comply with the flood rules.

That's what I suggested but then second guessed myself. Thanks David!
