On a construction to perm loan, we typically begin escrowing once flood insurance is available to purchase (foundation/wall/roof), which generally occurs during the construction period, prior to the permanent phase. Are there other banks that follow a different practice? Thank you,

Well considering if the policy is issued after the date the loan is closed, the policy is subject to a 30 day wait, which means you have to wait another 30 days prior to advancing additional funds, most lenders require the flood insurance to be purchase prior to loan closing.
