We have a Mortgage Department that originates mortgage loans and sells them to different investors. These investors are asking for our "NMLS Certificate". We are finished with the process and I went on the NMLS website to see what I can find. Does anyone know where I can find a "NMLS Certificate"????

If I remember correctly, the MLO gets one emailed to them when they go active, but it really isn't used for anything. Ask the investor what they are looking for and if they can provide a sample so you know what they want.

Here is what I have done:
Login to NMLS - go to composite view tab - view institution.
Screen shot or print it. Very official looking. It's worked for more than one investor polling for SAFE Act compliance verification.
