Title: Re: Credit card as ODP

I just need a quick check of my understanding this afternoon:

We currently allow customers to link their credit card to their checking account for overdraft protection. We do not charge a fee if an advance from the card to the checking is completed, but we do charge a cash advance rate for the amount advanced.

We want to implement a few now, that would be charged to the credit card, for completing the transfer.

So, we would need to provide a 45 day change in terms notice, make sure this is on our disclosures for any new cards issued, and count this fee towards the finance charge. It is also my understanding that if the fees from the advance get close to the limit of fees you can charge during the first year the card is opened, that we would not be able to charge them.

Is this correct- and am I missing anything?
