Safe Deposit Access

I have a customer who is a deceased single owner safe deposit box. The court has appointed 3 co-executors of the estate. They want to open the box to remove the contents. One of the executors has called to say he can not be present. Can I accept a notarized letter from him stating that and authorizing the other 2 executors to remove the contents and close out the box without him?

I think I would check with your legal department for an answer on this issue.
