IRS Transcript request online

Does anyone request transcripts directly with the IRS using the Transcript Request service? I am trying to get setup and was told I needed to get fingerprinted and then they would set me up. Yesterday I called back to let them know the next steps and I was directed to an entirely different group and they only have a voicemail box to leave messages. We have been approached by a vendor who can pull transcripts but we would prefer to do it ourselves if possible. Thanks for any input.
