PA Compliance Schools

Has anyone attended PBA's compliance school(or any other in PA)? If so, would you recommend it? We're looking at either PBA's or ICBA's - any opinions?

I attended the PBA one held in March and found it very informative. I use the manual as a reference all the time.

Thanks very much for responding. Would you mind telling me how much compliance experience you had going into it? We have someone who is just getting started - truly has no experience at this point. I'm looking for Compliance 101.

I was away for a short vacation or I would have gotten back to you sooner. I have been in auditing for over 5 yrs, and a compliance officer for almost 2. My class had various amounts of experience and everyone was learning. Very open to asking questions of presenters and classmates. This class would be appropriate for a newbie. The manual is priceless.

I have not attended ICBA's Compliance School but if it is good as its Auditing School then I would highly recommend it.

I had attended the PBA compliance school and very good for a person just starting into compliance. The make-up of the class was experienced as well novices which gave a great learning experience.

The manual is great and a good resource.
