Campaign account EIN

Does Florida require an EIN for a campaign account or can the person use their social security number?

The IRS requires campaign accounts, federal, state and local, to have an EIN that matches the account title. The campaign treasurer certifies the EIN. The State of Florida does not require the use of an EIN for campaign accounts. The IRS does.
