KS - Farm Land used as collateral on loan -

Kansas - Farm land used as collateral on loan, loan paid in full however, borrower states they will be back in the spring to borrower more on the farm land. Can we hold on to the mortgage until the borrower comes in to borrower more money or do we need to release the mortgage?
