Bank System Audits

Hi All,

Not sure if I have this right or not, but I remember reading somewhere that the bank should have some type of audit in place for bank systems. Like having a third party audit the bank's teller system, loan system, wire system, things along those lines to make sure that they are functioning correctly. Did I miss read that or was that a suggestion? If yes, where can I find some information regarding what is required?

Can't you just ask your core service provider for a copy of their SSAE 16??

That would also fall under vendor management.
