E-Check and account holds

We have had multiple requests from consumers to "stop payment of all ACH items, always." Honoring this request would mean that we would return all RCKs. I'm not sure this is acceptable, but would like to know if others are receiving this type of request and if so, how you are handling them?

We've been getting the same requests recently and haven't been honoring them.
