Joint Notice on CD

If a CD has joint owners with separate addresses, by law do we have to send two notices for renewal?

We only allow one address at a time on any account. The CD can be joint (Mom & Daughter) But only one of their addresses would be on the account. Normally the local one who has the CD in her possession.
