Authorized Signer-Singular or Plural? TCA 45-2-703

We've recently converted to a new deposit platform system with a new forms vendor. The first day we went "live" I received a distress call from a CSR letting me know that there was no place/space to add more than one authorized (convenience) singer on the new form for an individual account. I've worked for several TN banks over the years, all of which allowed the naming of more than one convenience signer on individual or joint accounts. Have we just been loosey-goosey as an industry all these years? I've always be aware the statute read in the singular. Now it seems the form vendor recognizes the same. Anyone care to comment?
