Member FDIC on Insurance Letters

I received a proposed letter to review that communicates the availability of an insurance specialist to speak to our customers in the branches. This person would consult on and offer life insurance, long term care insurance and disability programs. I do not feel this should include "Member FDIC", however the guidelines published by the FDIC do not specifically address these items. Any thoughts?

I'd advise against including the FDIC reference. You are not promoting insured products, and there's always the possibility that your insurance specialist might mention an annuity.
