You want to hear something weird? My wife and I were poking around antique malls a few days ago and we saw several of those old aluminum Christmas trees that looked kind of like silver pipe cleaners stuck in a bar of conduit. The weird thing was that I actually kind of like them and wouldn't mind having one as our Christmas tree. I can't believe I actually like them.
