Present.

This is dumb - the receptionist and I are the only two people in our entire building!

Me - and I'm having the most productive day since I joined this company!!! Only a 3rd of my staff is here, and NONE of my superiors...I think I need to take Carlos Mencia's advice and go start my law firm!

The upshot is that I get the *entire* pot of coffee to myself. It's mine - IT'S ALL MINE!!!!!!

Still recovering from too much food yesterday

I'm here. Was supposed to be off but decided to come to work as I didn't really have anything I wanted/needed to do at home and I can take the day later in December when I will need it. We have 9 employees out and 15 here from this office which it our Main Office-branch and corporate headquarters. Right now I am the only one here on my hall. It sure is peaceful. The phone hasn't even rung yet.

If we have a rush of customers, we'll be in trouble. We have three tellers at the main office, one CSR, one lender and two support persons, one bookkeeper, the compliance officer (me!), and the CEO. We're a small office to begin with, but really!

I'm here...

But I did get my shopping done this morning from my kitchen table

I really could have slept on and on this morning.

Currently about 65 with a high of probably 75 here.

Only getting in the mid-40's here, but it's bright and sunny. We have a storm coming in for Sunday starting possibly as snow.

I'm the only one here in my department. It's very very quiet.

I dragged my baconbutt in today and so could have stayed at home in bed. It's only 55 right now and there's fog in midtown. It's only supposed to get to 68.

HIgh today is to be 40 but the sun is shining for the first time in 2 weeks I think. That makes it even harder to be here.

Mom, you'll probably have to share the Wii Fit! My grandchildren want one (so Nanny will provide!).

It's 57 and overcast here. Rained some during the night.

I am, unfoturnately, working today. It was soooo hard to get out of bed this morning. My hubby and son are both at home today and were snuggled under the blankets when I left.

Plus, we have snow on the ground and it was only 26 degrees when I came in to work this morning.

I'm here too, but going on 2 week vacation starting Monday. One branch bank also. Surprisingly, only 2 people off (with 2 already on vacation) today. Guess everyone wants to save some days for shopping.

Just glad to be here. I couldn't help but think that it was Monday when I got up this morning (almost took the trash out). Speaking of trash, I've got a S&S exam to prepare for...

My granddaughter (who'll be 8 in January) beats her dad at bowling - and he's NOT letting her win. She's so proud of herself.

Here, and only 1 other in accounting dept. today. The bank is buying pizza for smaller staff than usual and we will be watching a football game on TV off and on in the employee room, with the full wall big screen.

At least we get to close at noon today!

<----- Hand rised high in the air - I'm here, I'm here just didn't get in until around 10:00 - - who needs a compliance officer the day after Thanksgiving before 10:00AM??? Today is the annual Christmas Walk in town so we close at our usual 5:30, employees who volunteered to work the walk get pizza and the doors open again around 6 ish for the annual rush for the free small stuffed toy. I have on my annual Christmas Jumper and everyone is festive - if not a little tired by the end of the night.

Those of us that are here are having pizza but unfotunately no big screen TV. Just the usual radio and that isn't working right today.

We're in very small towns and almost all of the businesses will close also except the retail stores. A lot of the local residents will go to larger near-by towns to shop the bargains today also.

Me - I'm going home! No shopping today or even this weekend (except on line)! A bunch of nuts are always out there.

I'm here too......but only til noon. I took a half vacation day.

I need the time off badly. I've been training a new CSR for the last month (or so it feels like anyway) and it is just sucking the life right out of me......and BSA training starts in a week and a half.

So I'll enjoy my slightly long weekend. Cooking a belated Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, but otherwise I plan on relaxing.

I am here....and I'm not sure why......Hope it doesn't drag like Wednesday did.....

But...I am reminding myself that I am thankful for my job!

Thanksgiving is over but this week-end we are having a birthday party for my 3 year old grandson whose birthday actually is today. He was born on the first day of deer season 3 years ago. If you know anything about western PA you will know that is not a good thing to do to your grandpa's. The schools even close down for the first day of deer season. We have 7 acres of woods behind our house and I don't go outside at all for a week.

So, they were all here last week-end for Thanksgiving and then they will be back tomorrow for the birthday. I'm tired already just thinking about it.

Ditto...it seems like most of it is other peoples work, however. Hmmm...

Just sayin....

Because I had to come in to work today, my hubby is out hunting. My faith in the universe's sense of justice has now been renewed - I'm sitting in my nice, cozy, warm, dry office looking out the window at the POURING RAIN and giggling my butt off.

Here today, but was off on Wednesday. We are about half staff each day. No lunch, but the bank ordered in pizza for us. Pretty slow and the day is just dragging on.....

We could post a few stories that would make his pacer explode.

We are going to get our Christmas shopping done (hopefully). Usually I take the first week of December off every year. This year, due to staffing problems with the branch part of the bank (everyone in management getting pregnant at the same time and on maternity leave at the same time --jeesss), I couldn't take any time off until late October, so I just took two weeks in December. What I'm hoping is that in the second week we can take a short get-a-way someplace close. Maybe the Poconos (they have a lot of "all included" resorts) or even to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun (casino resorts) just to go someplace different.

Ok - It was a dark and stormy Black Friday here in the Cooler. Pale was on moderator duty, and since all was quiet, he dozed off in the corner.
