pens, scissors, tape, stapler, files, car keys, wallet, paper clips, rubber bands...so what exactly have you learned from this?

Pens, envelopes, letter openers, lint bursh, butter, a Twinkie from July 2005 (it’s kinda my personal science experiment).

I have learned that you obviously have not personalized your space. Now the question is why? Are you afraid of committment? Are you hiding something from everyone?

Top Drawer has office supplies such as pens, highlighters, paper clips, etc. - gum, candy (mints & sour cherry chews), business cards, batteries, and a speeding ticket that hasn't been paid yet - extra strength Tylenol & tension headache Exedrin.

Binder clips, jolly rancher lolli pops, chocolate, bag with tooth paste, tooth brush, deodorant, and an extra pair of nude and off black stockings.

All sorts of junk and about $20 in change. When I come back from lunch (if I had cash and used it!) I throw the change in my drawer. It has accumulated nicely! Also a toothbrush, gum, chapstick and an assortment of wonderful "gifts" (pens, pencils, pins, picture frames, etc.) for my years of bank service.

The most interesting thing I have in my desk is a plastic toy gun. Back when I was a teller, we always said after dealing with a not-so-bright customer (after said customer left the building) "Get the gun!" So when one of our college students left after working all summer, she gave me this gun. It has traveled with me from branch to branch, desk to desk for about 10 years now.

The only other remotely interesting thing I have in there is a few poker chips.

It should be what people have on their desks, We had one lady that had all those little troll dolls lined up. she would make sure their hair was just right everyday

Have Six drawers. Most are just files of everything ever done in this office from be me and the last three to occupy this position. But in "My Junk" drawer. Family size bottle of Excedrin, Advil, Tylonal, Apirin, Tums, Hard tak Cinimun Candy, Gum, Tooth Brush, Toothpaste, Floss, Almonds (Natural and Roasted), Peanuts, Ritz cheese and crackers, Planters BIG NUTS bars, Old fashion Pepperment, Salt, Pepper, Splenda, Tea bags(Variety Pack) Plastic Wear, Napkins, Tic taks, Back Scratcher, Cold Ez. Band Aids, fingernail clippers, chap stick.

Did I mention I have snuck in a small Fridge. Like my drinks cool, and my cheese and deer stick, beef sick, puddin.
Everyone says if we are ever stuck inthis place they are coming to my office.

Besides the usual office supplies...two travel size sewing kits, a mug I keep loose change in, lotion, CDs, photos, a compact and an old cell phone (and when I say old I mean analog old)...plus 3 calculators, a flashlight, a pedometer and a bunch of junk from the FRB (shredded money in a bag, etc)...

Well lets see - other than the usual office supplies ( which includes highlighters in every color available) - tea bags, stress ball, tums, suckers, name tags, passwords (oops - did I type that out loud?) a Bible, poetry, pictures my daughter drew for me.....

Who's Bubbles?

In my desk - nothing much of interest besides files, a couple of cans of soup, a spoon, hand lotion and a sewing kit.

On my desk - numerous pictures, a coffee cup that says "I'm tired and I want a Cookie", a stuffed sheltie <I have a sheltie>, a stuffed lamb, and a sign my brother made for me many years ago that says "Money Laundred Here - Member FDIC".

staples, loose change, an ipod player, post-its, letter opener, spare rubber thingys for my earbuds, a Borders gift card, and an unopened, airline sized bottle of Skyy vodka left on my desk at Christmas.

i personalize the top of the desk, credenza, cabinets, and have my own pictures on the wall. No need to clutter up the drawers, personalizing is about letting others see what you've done, not hiding stuff

The stuff people hide is much more telling....

When you are having a bad day and just need to smile. Blow bubbles and you can't help but smile. In fact it's quite impossible....try it!!

Oh, and I swear Yoss's post wasn't there when I posted mine, took me awhile to get the color and font and then boom....must've been having the same thought at the same time.

But to add to the lists others have posted I also have my own label maker, a Tide stain pen, assorted headache remedies, sewing kit, tool box, florist wire, shoe shine kit - the list goes on and on (I used to be a Cub Scout Master - you know, be prepared, well I am!)

In the top drawer of my desk, I have the typical office supplies:

pens, pencils, highlighters, ruler, staple remover, sortkwik, wite-out, scissors, credenza keys, paper clips (large & small), sticky notes, lip balm, fingernail file

In my "junk" drawer:

Box of Wheat Thins, 6-pack of Beef flavored Ramen noodles, licorice (Green Apple & Watermelon), coffee mugs, lint roller, Immune-boosting gummy vitamins, hairspray, cup of apple sauce, napkins, a gazillion lip-sticks/glosses, clear fingernail polish, compact, extra deposit tickets, old calendars, bills/receipts, Gladware container (empty), banana, Craisins, extra pens/pencils, empty Coke cans, silly straws, plastic eating utensils (unused, of course), instant oatmeal, perfume, lotion, water flavoring, bag clip, blank birthday cards, old notary stamp

You know......just the typical stuff.

If I just looked in my desk drawers you'd say I am pretty normal, but if you count the other drawers and hiding places in my office...you'd now how OCD I am. LOL

First off, I have TONS of office supplies, when my dept. needs supplies they come to me instead of the supply room. I color code everything so I seriously have 30-40 different color highlighters. Then I have colored pens, then I have different color post its and flags...see where I am going?

In my "personal junk" drawer I have hair clips, hair ponies, hairspray, spray gel, anti-bacterial hand gel, 3 packages of straws (different types for different needs), tea bags, cider packets, cough drops, sugar free icea tea and punch packets, batteries, downey wrinkle releaser, plastic cutlery, napkins, cramp relief pills, first aid kit, spare glasses, sewing kit, nail polish remover, nail polish, nail file, q-tips, and anti-bacterial wipes.

I have another drawer with decorations for every holiday and fuzzy lite up pens to match. I have a couple of plastic drawers under my desk for snacks, mainly fruit leather and microwave popcorn right now.

On my desk and surrounding areas I have pictures of my friends and family, with some knick-knacks to things that I like. I also have a table top fountain on my bookcase.

gum, tweezers, mirror...it's buuuroooken , some kind of electrical plug thingy, deod, any kind of drug known to man + more (everybody comes to me when sick), cards to send to people, hair spray, a squeeze dude where all three eyes poke out when I squeeze him...usually on very very stressful days (a/k/a everyday), lightbulb, small sewingkit, vaseline, qtips (stay away Freak!), bobby pins, pony tail holders, music CD's, jelly....

One of the cradeza drawers is a food drawer which also contains fork/knife/spoon/cereal bowl/coffee cup (I don't use styrofoam or plastic).

I'm registered with the Martial Arts Masters World Federation Inc. as a Shotokan blackbelt. I actually only teach once per week....mainly white belt children. If ever attacked, I think I have an above-average chance of surviving OR at least making the attacker wish he or she hadn't messed with me. I hope to NEVER have to find out!!!

Sounds like a conflict of interest to me.

Visit your local Walmart, Target, K-Mart (similar store) and by some sort of drawer unit for desktop or under the desk. Charge it to the bank.....or to the shareholder.

Really, it was one of the nice scented ones (kinda powdery smelling). Still makes me laugh when my ex-boss asked for some paperclips and I handed her a Ziplock bag of paperclips and the panty liner. I wonder what she thought? Guess I don't care... She's gone....
