The 'Cooler is Dead, Long Live the 'Cooler!

No, only 99% of the people who can't help themselves from hijacking threads and turning them into something irrelevant on purpose.

I say the majority of 'Cooler posters stopped posting because of the trolls. (That, and for the way we jump all over someone who disagrees with us in the political and religious threads.)

So to say "The 'Cooler is Dead, Long Live the 'Cooler," does this mean that the 'Cooler is dead but it lived a long time? Or is it actually Undead ('Cooler Zombies would be an explanation)? Or is it, as Miracle Max from "The Princess Bride" would say, "It is mostly dead, which means it's partly alive?"

I'm just so confused!
