Now, now folks, let's not get ahead of the group. You will have more choices in due time as subsequent polls are published by your host. smile

It's interesting (and likely intended) that Bugs asked which song we like the best today. With this list, and many other music-related lists, my answer could very well be different depending on the day I am asked.

Very likely, GD. smile

I like them all. One of my favorites though is Rocky Raccoon off the White album. I love that song.

I agree with Dude....what I like or am in the mood for today, may be totally different tomorrow!

Re: Beatles fans, please. - 11/10/09 07:56 PM

Yes, that's why I said "today." I figured people would tell us their favorites in their replies. But this poll is not about our *favorite* Beatles song, it's about which of the 5 in the poll do we like best today. smile

That's one of the cool things about music. We might listen to a certain song or artist based on our current mood or a song or artist can put us in a certain mood. ::waits for Miscuit to "dirty" up this post. whistle

I like Ticket to Ride, even though it sounds like

She's got a chicken to ride
She's got a chicken to ri-i-ide
She's got a chicken to ride
And she don't care

In My Life is my current favorite.

I took Buggs question as meaning today/now as compared to the 60s, 70s, etc.

What I liked in 1968 is not what I like best today.

I've always thought the beatles were somewhat untalented and over-rated...

Re: Beatles fans, please. - 11/10/09 11:31 PM

I chose Yesterday. I've always liked that song, and today, that would be my choice. Had it been Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help From My Friends," I would have chosen it.

Re: Beatles fans, please. - 11/12/09 12:00 AM

Well, as of this moment we have a tie between Come Together and With a Little Help From My Friends, so both will move to Round 2. Look for the Round 2 thread. Thanks for voting!
