Chris Isaak--Forever Blue (Without identifying who it was, Isaak made his mood clear with Forever Blue by including an intimate farewell letter in the liner notes to the lover who had dumped him. He later admitted it was a mistake to do this.)
Best Break-up song (OK, I admit it is probably not the best break-up song of all time, but it is a great song and named appropriately):

Actually, to enjoy the horror in his eyes, I'd be sure to have some red wine on the floor...and plenty of glass, but that's a good point...perhaps some cheep red wine

The best breakup album is "Exiles" by Dan Fogelberg. Just about every song relates to leaving. He must have been going through a breakup when he wrote it. One summer of my life, I almost wore the CD out....

Oh yeah and the song Maybe by Alison Krauss. OH and I forgot Rob Thomas, Something to be, IT'S WONDERFUL!!! if you havent heard it, it's more of how you feel when everyone tells you what you did and that the other person was the one that screwed it up. It's a good song!
