Prayers please for co-worker's family

Please keep a co-worker's family in your prayers. The family was on their way to a family Christmas and was in a car wreck. My co-worker and her 4 yr old daughter were both ejected from the vehicle. She was killed, the daughter is in ICU and the husband who was driving is in critical condition. She was only 28. It's a very somber day after Christmas here at the bank.

Last report is that the husband did not have a good night and the news is not good. The little girl is doing better. She has a broken jaw and broken arm and they had to wire her jaw shut. Also heard she had a collapsed lung. Prayers still needed.

I can't even imagine.... prayers for your, your fellow staff and the family. Such a horrible loss of a young life. Everyone be careful out there!

What's the latest news?

The little girl had surgery to repair her broken arm today. She is doing much better. The husband has a swollen brain and broken neck along with other injuries. They are keeping him in a medically induced coma. He is still touch and go.

Prayers continuing from Ohio.

Good news. Surgery for McKinley to put the plate in her arm went well. Justin is undergoing surgery now to fix his broken neck. He was responding to them by moving his feet. After the surgery they plan on removing the brain monitor and ventilator and putting in a trach. He still has a long way to go but shows signs of improvement.

Glad to hear some good news. Will continue to pray for more...

Just returned from a week long vacation, I am so sorry to hear this news, how terrible. Definitely adding my prayers for this family.

McKinley came home but is trying to get used to her arm situation and they said she is still a little unsteady. Justin is still in a coma. They hope to remove the brain sensor soon and can then do an MRI to see how injured his brain is. He has developed some type of infection so they are treating that. He is still in critical condition.

It has been a sad couple of weeks. They had Amanda's funeral the 8th and then had to turn off life support on Justin the 9th. The MRI showed extensive brain damage and they were told he would never recover from it. He wasn't waking up and it got to the point that machines were keeping him alive. His services were yesterday. The little girl has a hard cast on her arm and is progressing slowly. She still has lots of checkups with the doctors but should recover from all her injuries. It's just so sad to be a 4 year old and lose both parents.

Oh my goodness, my prayers are with them all, how sad for that little girl! I pray also for those that are now taking her in and loving her.

How awful. My prayers are with that little girl.
