Columbus Day - open or closed poll

Columbus Day - open or closed poll - 10/08/14 01:06 PM

We are open, but will begin observing Columbus Day in 2015! Now, if we can just get senior management to also observe President's Day, we'll be like a real bank!

Closed which may be an aid if the 3rd grandchild arrives this weekend or earlier and I need to burn up the highway between Texas and Arkansas.

closed and Triage is later this month instead of this weekend so I'll actually be enjoying a three day weekend. Weather is supposed to be good too so I may spend it finishing up putting the gardens to bed for winter.

Re: Columbus Day - open or closed poll - 10/08/14 05:59 PM

Closed! And my husband gets to have the day off as well. Schools are in session but since my son is doing exceptionally well in school this year, we are letting him take the day off so that we can have a 3 day weekend of hunting. Deer opens Saturday so we're hoping we have a bountiful harvest to fill our freezers full of meat! smile

Closed for all Federal Holidays. We follow the Fed's schedule. If they're not open, why should we be open? Deposits won't go anywhere.

Forgot to add that my kids both have school! Little one has preschool so hubby and I will have a kid-free house until 1pm. We're still unpacking and settling in the new house so those few hours without a 3 year old tornado-godzilla mutant will be awesome! grin

I can only hear Judy Collins singing Send in the Clowns. But it does fit your situation, Sinatra.
