A friend bought the csx kit and built it in his garage a few years ago. Later traded it for a boat and motor.

It was a fun ride and he and his son did a great job assembling the car. But, honestly, I think they enjoy the boat and fishing in the Gulf more than the Cobra. There is a place in Dallas that sells these cars on assignment.

I have a friend with an orginal 1967 AC Cobra. He and I have both had faster cars (he still does), but it is one of the funnest an most visceral cars I've ever driven. I get a grin I can't get off of my face for hours! It is not a car for the inexperienced though. NO computer to help you keep it between the striped lines. He still races it on rare occaisions.

We have an 06 Odyssey. I do not like the new body style. Not sure what we will get when we move on from this one.

In a casual conversation a woman I know referred knowingly to a "barn car." She was instantly even more attractive than she had been moments before...

The GT 40 is one of the great exotics...

LOL @ Ken

Even the newer Ford GT is a great car and one that I'd love to have. Those are one of very few cars that never actually depreciated.
