We have some pretty good discussions on Bankers' Threads. If you had to go into a debate without knowing the topic, which BOLr or BOLrs would you want on your side?

Now, I assume that since this was posted in the Watercooler that we are not talking banking topics. I think I would choose Ken from Pegasus. (I might also choose him for banking topics.)

It depends on the topic. In banking, John Burnett has always been the one to help me out, but in a general debate, I would take either Paragon or Zaibatsu. Are we picking teams now?

i'd say Ken, Zaibatsu and andy Z. they have good thought out answers and Z could help keep us out of trouble... being a lawyer and all!

Compliance Issues ---- Dan, Andy, Dawnie, Z, (Cub)Dave and David. All of these are so brillant and CubDave could charm pimentos out of olives.

Just on general principle ---- Maria, Dawnie, Clint, Fraud Pup, Skittles, Pizzaz and Mr. C!!!!

This is an interesting concept to ponder, I have a road trip this PM -- I'm sure I'll think of others.

I think I would want Andy Z on my team no matter what the topic. He seems to have all of the info and also he seems very logical about non-banking issues. I tend to get a little wired so he would be the one to keep my team centered!

Mary Beth...any day...any time. I've never met anyone with that much stored knowledge in my life! How do you remember so much MB? Unless of course the topice was popular music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s...then Z would be my phone a friend. If the topic was the Chicago Cubbies, I think I would have to call our Big Head friend Dave.

Oh dear I'm afraid I'm with Dan! I can't choose. For a good tough logical fight, heck Z and Omega come to mind, but so does Dan, Wild Turkey, Ex Babe, SoccerMom, Oh heck I can't choose!

For a hair pulling, mud slinging, all out girl power fight...CubDave, Elena, Maria, Bonnie...I can't choose a favorite. It depends on the fight

I guess if the world ended and I had to chose...MARY BETH (because of her plug pulling ability). It's sort of like having god on your side....MB...STRIKE THUNDER ON THAT UGLY ONE PLEASE....THWAPPP ahhh what a nice thing to imagine!

I cannot say for certain whom I would want on my side. I can say however that were I to be debating an issue with someone, I would prefer it to be someone such as Andy, Jim, Jac, Ken, Dan, Mary Beth, etc. (You know who you are) because they tend to try to debate issues in a non-confrontational way in order not to hurt or offend those that might not share their opinion. For that reason, I highly respect them and I thank them.

Thank you, that is a very nice compliment.

I always try, but do not always succeed, to treat everyone in the same manner I would expect to be treated. That philosophy (thanks to my grandfather) has served me well over the years.

Hey girl! Things are chaos here, what with one thing and another. Good, but very very busy. Junebug is great, she's so cute. Still doesn't crawl forwards much, but she goes backwards and in circles like a champ. She says Mama & Dada and has other DAs that she uses for the kitties and for ducks. Can't believe she is 10 months now, where does the time go????? If I get a chance after Easter I will post some photos.

Miss y'all, I never get much time here any more!

Thanks for all of those complimentary posts. I can't really pick, because there is such a large selection of bright, smart and witty people on BOL.
As another poster said, I think that we should all converge, if ever such a cause arises...
