Who's open and who's closed on the 5th? - 07/01/04 06:22 PM

Our bank, unfortunately, is open on the 5th. Stupid me...I didn't request it off thinking my hubby would have to work. He gets the day off and over half the other people here at the bank. Guess I will be working...plan on leaving early too!!!

What about everyone else?

Not only are we closed the 5th, but they decided to close the lobby on the 3rd and just have the drive-through open.

My bank is closed on the 5th. We should be closed on the 3rd, but that is another battle I'm not looking forward to.

My friend's bank is staying open late on Friday night, then is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday!! Happy 4th of July!! My bank is only closed on Monday.

Surprisingly enough, we're closed on the 5th. Normal schedule on the 3rd.

closed...and I couldn't count it towards our mandatory 6 business days off from the bank so I'm on vacation 7/1 to 7/12 and it only counts as 6 days. Got lucky for once!

Closed on the 5th. We stopped Saturday banking years ago .

One of our SVPs is cooking hot dogs for everyone tomorrow, his idea!!! He started this last year. The bank buys buns, condiments, and chips; then everyone gets in the mood and starts volunteering desserts, dips, etc. It really is a lot of fun and everyone seems to appreciate the effort. Oh, and of course, we wear the red, white & blue.

Closed here too!! I got double lucky, my hubby's company is taking Monday off too, which is a surprise because he works construction.

Our COO is grilling fajitas for everyone (he REALLY likes that grill! ) - we're providing the fixin's. We're closed on the 5th as well.

Closed on Monday, yuppeee! We are always closed on Saturdays so it is a 3 day weekend.

Too bad we are open until 7 tonight, but the 3 day weekend makes up for it.

We are eating barbeque today, only drive thrus open tomorrow, everyone's off Monday, and the doctor said he is inducing labor Tuesday for my wife and our third daughter.

I guess I am sad to say that we are one of the amazing bank's that will be open. We are not observing the holiday at all. We have normal hours all the way through.
