Customer's Clothing Malfunction? - 05/09/05 06:44 PM

One of our customer's just came in, and apparently he didn't have on any underwear. He realized he was showing the world everything, so he then crossed his legs and placed his notebook in his lap.

Any one else have any good situations?

Did you say what Gunther on Friends did. "Hey buddy, put the mouse in the house, this is a family place."

No, I was not looking, I was in my office. The secretary that was waiting on him said you couldn't help but see it all.

Well, I worked with a rather heavyset woman several million years ago, and she came out of the ladies room one day, with her dress tucked inside the back of her pantyhose and girdle. She walked through the lobby that way (yes, it was open), before I could catch her.

Quite a spectacle...

dq, you're showing your age again...

what exactly is a girdle?? I've heard of them, but I've never really asked...

Ha ha ha, I don't wear them, she did. They are like a fat compressor, the ancient relative of control top panty hose.

Was the guy wearing a skirt?

It's not a skirt, it's a KILT.

He was wearing white shorts with a black shirt. One of the other secretaries was thinking the same thing because his shirt was hanging out of the leg of his shorts (as apparently was everything)

This kind of thread reminds that I wish we had Janet Jackson's accounts.

We once had a customer p00p in the lobby and then leave their pants in the vestibule...no witnesses to what they were wearing when the left...we also had a branch in a somewhat seedy area and the locals used to use the driveup window as a urinal!!!!

There used to be a lovely little old lady, in her 80s, who used to take a taxi to the branch bank. One day she came tottering into the lobby, in her dress, hose, low heeled shoes and gloves, with her handbag on her arm. Just as she reached the middle of the lobby, her half slip fell to the floor in a puddle of silk around her feet. Fortunately, she did not walk fast or she would have taken a nose dive. She looked down, stepped out of her slip, picked it up, held it up by the waistband and said "Well, looks like I need a new slip!" She then put her slip in her handbag, went to the teller window, did her banking, got in the taxi and left.

After everyone picked their jaws up off their desks, we all agreed that we hoped we have the same amount of cool at that age.

That happened to one of our employees in the former CLO's office. She just retired and someone brought it up again at her going away party. Too funny.

If the old guy this happened to hadn't been so good natured about this incident I would not write of it. He was also not injured.

Overweight old guy comes into the bank, trips; his prosthetic leg comes out of his pants. It takes the bank president and two male loan officers to get him off the floor of the lobby. It takes another 20 minutes to get his leg reattached.

Many years ago, our bank was remodeling and we had kind of a garage sale of old furnishings and such. I was working with our facilities manager whose face would turn beet red at the drop of a hat.

A rather well endowed woman in a loose fitting cut off t-shirt (no bra) had purchased boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations that we were helping her load in her car. Each time she would bend over to put something in the car everyone withing 100 yards could see right up her shirt. Some of us were embarassed, but the poor facilities guy had a front row seat (think lap dance). His face turned purple.......

I used to work at a institution when you opened the door and if the wind was right, it blow all the female dresses up over their heads. On ocassion some females won't be wearing anything underneath.

I wonder if it was REALLY a malfuntion or if he truly wanted someone to see and notice "it," then pretend to be embarrassed....

Re: Customer's Clothing Malfunction? - 05/09/05 09:41 PM

I know this has nothing to do with banks, but seeing the thread about the wind blowing up the skirt reminded me of the first time my wife came to visit me on the submarine that I was stationed on.

We were 21, newly married and the first time that she was able to meet the boat when we pulled in. So, she dresses in a nice skirt and top and as many of my shipmates found out, pantyhose and bikini underwear. She was walking down the ladder to the mess decks and the ladder well was a return for the ship's ventilation. Halfway down the ladder and her skirt was up over her head. I at the time thought it was hilarous, she made me realize later that I was wrong. Until the day I retired, she never wore a dress to meet me again.

That's the funny part. I think all us men can relate.

One time a woman drove through one of our lanes (4 lane drive thru) without a top on. At first we all thought she was wearing a tube top...but nope when she reached for the tube we all gotta look.

I had a teller come to work one day without a blouse. She came to work, took off her coat to reveal that she was only wearing a bra. Her story was that after she had finished ironing her blouse she hung it up while she finished getting ready. Her ride came and rang the bell and she put on her coat and ran out the door.

I had this happen to me in college. Reported it to the police, turned out the guy had a long history of this kind of activity. Creepy ....

Under the kilt? I can't even begin to describe the image I have in my head now.

Actually, if you ask a Scottsman what he wears under his kilt, he'll smile and say "Your girlfiend's lipstick."

Get this one. We were displaying works of art at our bank for some local group (I can't remember what it was). These were life size dipictions of normal life, ie. a man on a Harley (real Harley). The most "popular" one was a small camper (older style)with the wife coming our of the door and the husband sitting in a lawn chair. Remember these are life size sculptures. The husband was sitting with his legs spread. Now you get the picture. Our Marketing VP has a picture of the display in his office as a reminder to always preview these items.
