There used to be a lovely little old lady, in her 80s, who used to take a taxi to the branch bank. One day she came tottering into the lobby, in her dress, hose, low heeled shoes and gloves, with her handbag on her arm. Just as she reached the middle of the lobby, her half slip fell to the floor in a puddle of silk around her feet.
Fortunately, she did not walk fast or she would have taken a nose dive. She looked down, stepped out of her slip, picked it up, held it up by the waistband and said "Well, looks like I need a new slip!" She then put her slip in her handbag, went to the teller window, did her banking, got in the taxi and left.
After everyone picked their jaws up off their desks, we all agreed that we hoped we have the same amount of cool at that age.
