ok, so a few co-workers and I are thinking of going to the movies tonight, however we don't know what some of the movies are about.
Doom?
2 for the money?
Domino?
The Fog?
can anyone please let me know what they are about and rating, etc? Thanks.

2 for the money is about gambling
the fog is about a seaside town haunted by dead sailors, remake of 19080 movie
no idea on the other 2

dOOM is based on a Mid 90's computer game.
Domino is a movie about a serial killer.
Fog is a horribly bad horror movie.
Of your choices 2 for the money is probably the best bet.

Doom looks scary. If its anything like newest Generation of the game, there will parts where you literally [censored] yourself because its terrifying. I own the game and when me and my friends want to get scared we put it on with no lights. It truly is terrifying

Reveiws don't mean [censored]. People said "Waiting.." sucked and that's a great movie! Same goes for "Super Troopers" and a bunch of others. So take your movie review and cram it.

Nice one barbarian, took you a while to come up with it though...
Super Troopers...right up there with Gone With the Wind, Ben Hur, The 10 Commandments, Forrest Gump, and several other Oscar notables...
Anyway, I think the commercial for Doom shows the hero being played by "The Rock" of wrestling fame. That should tell you right there if it is good or not.

I never said that Super Troopers was an Oscar calibur movie, I said it was great. Great is not synonamous with Oscar, even in movie land. Its a comedy, so its supposed to make you laugh, which it does a great job of - which is something everybody should do at least 10 times a day.
Doom was such a great game.

one of the best I've ever played. When it was released in 1993, even Time magazine did a review on it. The emotions you get playing it is part of the fun of it. DooM 3 is only out on Xbox. Sad. Final Doom for Playstation 1 is a good sequel to the first game. As far as the movie goes, I don't know. probably not as good as playing the actual game. Mortal Combat movie, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil, good movies. Doom, I just don't think they can pull it off.

saw 2 for the money this week - entertaining. The 1st half of the movie is really good, but the last half kinda drags. good part for me - Matthew McConaughey shirtless in quite a few scenes!
I have Doom 3 for the pc also. It is very fun and entertaining. But the gameplay is not there because of the intense graphics.
